S.N.V. Sivakumar is currently Dean, Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences at Somaiya Vidyavihar University and Professor of Economics at K J Somaiya Institute of Management, Mumbai. He has over 30 years of academic and research experience. He obtained MA, M.Phil., and Ph.D. in Economics from University of Hyderabad.
