Gowri Joshi
Dr. Gowri Joshi, Ph.D. from SNDT University in the area of Mentoring, has been an OD consultant, corporate trainer, personal counsellor, researcher and management educator since the last 15 years. She has imparted training to various clients in the pharmaceuticals, cements, logistics and freight forwarding, oil and petroleum, banking, shipping, and steel industry among other sectors. She has published research papers in ABDC listed journals and Cabell’s directory listed International journals. In the past, she has served The Taj Group of Hotels in the Corporate Human Resources; was HOD and Associate Professor (HR and OB) at the prestigious School of Business Management, NMIMS Deemed to be University, Mumbai; and last stint, before NMIMS, was as the ‘Director In Charge’ of a reputed B-school in Mumbai. Dr. Gowri Joshi is certified as a Personal Counsellor and has voluntarily conducted free training camps for different target groups such as the Mumbai police, visually impaired students, orphan and street children from NGOs and many others.
Veena Vohra
Dr. Veena Vohra, Associate Dean and Professor – Human Resources and Behavioral Sciences at the School of Business Management, NMIMS University, is an MBA with specialization in HR and has completed her doctoral dissertation in the area of Leadership, Emotional Intelligence and Appreciative Inquiry. She has previously been Chairperson of the MBA Programme and the MBA HR Programme at SBM. She has published a number of research papers in various national and international journals. Her case studies have been published by Ivey Publishing and Emerald Emerging Markets Case Studies. She has co-authored the Indian adaptation of Behavioral Science Interventions for Organizational Improvement with French and Bell; and the book Human Resource Management with Snell and Bohlander. She has received the Best Faculty Award in 2015, 2013 and 2009, as well as the Best Department Award in 2011. On behalf of the School she also received the Best Academic Institute of the Year Award for contribution in the field of HR at the SHRM Annual HR Conference in 2014 as well as the Gold Award at Indian Management Conclave, New Delhi for Curriculum and Pedagogical Innovations in MBA HR.
